In the biblical report of the creation, with which...

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1: 1.

In the biblical report of the creation, with which Holy Scripture begins, we read three times that “God created” (vv. 1.21.27). In each case this expression denotes something being created that did not exist before, nor was there anything similar.

First of all, God created the heavens and the earth. That was the inception of material. God brought something into existence that was not there previously.

Later God created the animals. The fifth day of creation is introduced with the words: “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures” (v. 20). It could also be translated: “an abundance of living souls”. That was the start of animal life, when souls came into existence. Animals possess a soul, albeit not an immortal one. They can feel and move independently.

Finally, as the crown of creation, so to speak, God created man. That was the start of human life, and therefore of our spirit as well, which animals do not possess. Man is a rational being, who from his origin has been able to understand language and also to speak.

God’s creative powers reveal the limits of man’s activity. God has done what no human being could. Nobody can produce something from nothing (cf. Romans 4: 17), nor make dead matter alive. Nor is anyone capable of eliminating what distinguishes animals from mankind. And what man cannot do cannot be achieved by evolution.

How wondrous is God’s creative power! And how simple everything becomes when we accept and believe in the Creator.

Discouragement is a great tool in the hands of the enemy. Proverbs 13:12 says,

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

The devil usually does not apply discouragement when you are in high spirits or when you are happy,...More

It is one thing to receive the anointing and another to keep growing on it. There are people who had the anointing, but today, everything has virtually ebbed out. It is possible to connect with the Holy Spirit and to continue to flow in the power of the anointing even at increasing levels. If this is your desire,...More

One thing that robs many people of peace is the uncertainty of the future. If you are living in right standing with God, your future is guaranteed not by man or by the economy of your nation, but by God. Hence, Isaiah 3:10 says:
“Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat...More
