Enjoying God's Riches
As Christians we may get discouraged at times and begin to think that we are missing out somehow on the enjoyment that unbelievers experience. In moments of struggle our walk may not be characterized by an attraction to Christ, and our eyes may wander and look at this world almost longingly when we witness the carefree attitude they have. Yet we should ask ourselves, has God called us to live a life of strict rules and deprivation, or ought we instead to be seen as those who have joy because we have been set free .
