ON MY SIDE

READ:
we get the true picture of what this line means - and what Gabby meant. The psalmist wrote, "I called on the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side: I will not fear."
Another version translates verse 6 as "The Lord is with me" (NIV). It's the idea that when trouble comes into our lives, God, who is full of mercy and love (which "endures forever," v.4) will always be attentive to us and provide the protection we need.
We can learn from this heroic Olympic champion. When the economy falters and our finances can't keep up, listen to Gabby: "God will never fail you." When a relationship we cherished falls apart; indeed, no matter what our situation, as Christ-followers we know where to find help. "The Lord is on my side" - Dave Brano
Be still my soul - the Lord is on thy side!
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to thy God to order and provide-
In every change He faithful will remain - von Schlegel

In the midst of every trial, God is on our side.

UNCOVERING EVIL

The presence of the supernatural power of God in a church can take that church beyond limits.
It can also uproot the presence of evil in the midst of Gods children. In Acts 5, a couple were uprooted through this. If we are going to sanitise the church, we need the Holy Spirit. Just as we need Him to heal, save...More

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; ...More

THE NON-LYING GOD (2)

In the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the ages of time, but has manifested in its own due season His word.
(Titus 1:2-3)

THE NON-LYING GOD (2)
I can lie. Titus could too, and so could the Cretans. But God can not lie. I can deceive. But...More
