FALSE PROPHETS AND THEIR PROPHECIES-THE FALSE PROPHET

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
(Revelation 19:19-20)

FALSE PROPHETS AND THEIR PROPHECIES-THE FALSE PROPHET

In these verses we have the dreadful end of this wicked man whom Scripture here terms "the false prophet." Openly challenging the Lord Jesus on His return to earth in power and glory with His saints following Him, this wicked man is taken and cast into the Lake of Fire-Hell-alive. He and the man here referred to as "the beast," and in Revelation 13 spoken of as a beast rising out of the sea, have the distinction of being cast alive into the Lake of Fire 1000 years before anyone else. Revelation 20:10 clearly states that they are still there 1000 years later when the devil and all those judged at the Great White Throne are cast in to join them to be "tormented day and night for the ages of ages."
Revelation 13 shows us these two dreadful men rising to power through the agency of Satan, the dragon, during the Tribulation.
Their description makes plain that the first beast is a Gentile, ruling in Europe, while the second beast, the false prophet, is a Jew ruling in Israel, closely allied for protection with the first beast, and serving as his lieutenant. He is called The Lawless One and The Man of Sin in 2 Thessalonians 2 and is The Willful King of . Both these wicked men are anti-Christ, against Christ, but this second beast is The Antichrist.
The Antichrist, this False Prophet, will have miraculous super human powers and will tremendously oppress the saints of that day. But thank God, our Lord Jesus will have the final victory!
