At our conversion, we came to know...

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1

At our conversion, we came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, the one who died for us on the cross. Through personal faith in Him, we entered into a relationship with Him. Now, in our lives as Christians, we experience that the Lord Jesus is also our shepherd. He cares for all His sheep in a perfect way.

o The shepherd continually provides us with spiritual nourishment from the Word of God. When we read the Bible for ourselves or listen to the preaching of the Word, the Lord speaks to us. He strengthens us in truth and instructs us on how to lead a life to His pleasure.

o The shepherd guides us on the path of faith. We only need to listen to His voice and follow Him, “for all His ways are justice” (Deuteronomy 32:4). Even when we do not understand His guidance, let us follow Him trustingly.

o The shepherd supports us in the battle against our enemies. When the devil shoots a fiery arrow at us and seeks to weaken our faith, the Lord strengthens our faith through His Word. When the world presses and despises us, He gives us peace in our hearts.

o The shepherd is with us in every difficult situation. Whether we are overwhelmed by work or facing family problems, the Lord never abandons us. His presence is a great comfort, and His support is a wonderful help to us.

The Lord Jesus told His disciples that they would be given an understanding in "the mystery of the kingdom of God." He also spoke of another class of people to whom everything would be spoken in parables; these He described as, "them who are without." How solemn that God should...More

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
(Galatians 6:1-2)
