Luke 6:12

When sleep eludes me late at night,
I lift my eyes to Him, my Light,
And kneel before my faithful Lord,
Who blesses me with love outpoured.

When all around me is asleep,
It’s best for me my heart to keep
In His blest presence; there I find
His peace that calms my heart and mind.

He watched through many nights alone,
With hands uplifted, on His own,
In supplications, prayers and praise—
Once Man of Sorrows, now He’s raised.

His heart and ears are open wide;
He sees what stirs my soul inside.
So at His feet, I lay my care,
He knows the way, He’s always there.

Though I may not all things perceive,
His presence brings me sweet reprieve,
And when I seek to know His will,
He fills my heart with peace so still.

Though I am weak, this truth I see,
His strength in weakness comes to me.
In Him is strength, this is His Word,
My rock, my refuge—faithful Lord.
