According to God’s plan

I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.
Isaiah 48:17

According to God's plan
God wants the best for your life. Do you want it too? Then think about the following points:

God has a plan for your life. In Ephesians 2:10 Paul writes, "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." God has saved you by grace. Now He wants you to honour Him by living according to His thoughts. How this is to be done He has planned in advance. Will you allow Him to carry out this plan?
God wants to show you the plan for your life. The apostle Paul confirms this in Colossians 1:9: "that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will". You can indeed know God's will for your life, bit by bit. However, there is something that can prevent you from doing so: self-will. God will only give you insight into His plan if you are willing to put aside your own desires and obey Him.
Start implementing God's plan for your life. When God shows you His will, obey immediately. In John 7:17, the Lord Jesus says to His disciples, "If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God ". This statement makes it clear that in obeying the divine will you will receive further light for your life.
In this way, step by step, you can go the way God wants to lead you, so that His plan for you will be fulfilled.

Today's reading: Numbers 7:66-89 · Matthew 6:1-15
