Oliver accidentally drops his keychain...

Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God.
1 Chronicles 22:19

Oliver accidentally drops his keychain. He bends down to pick it up but his hand doesn’t respond. Worried, he visits a doctor who immediately admits him to a hospital. While his body is meticulously examined for days, his soul is shaken. Many questions flood his mind: How serious is it? Is it curable? Will I be able to return to work?

Are you perhaps like Oliver, seriously ill and greatly concerned about the future? Do you suddenly have a lot of time for reflection? Then accept this unexpected situation from God! He wants to get in touch with you and help you further. He’s waiting for you to reach out to Him.

Pray to God during these difficult days! Share your worries and fears with Him because He wants the best for you. He wants you to address those existential questions: What is the purpose of my life? What is my relationship with God? Where am I going?

In such times, it’s also good to pick up the Bible to find out what God wants to tell you. He loves you and gave His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die to save you from eternal judgment. Believe that the Lord Jesus died on the cross to pay for your sins!

If you have forgotten God throughout your life then turn to Him now!

He says, “I will not cause My anger to fall on you, for I am merciful” (Jeremiah 3:12).

Today’s reading: Judges 8:1-17 · 2 Corinthians 8:1-8

However, there was only one person, spiritually speaking, who was a true Nazarite, and that was our Lord Jesus. He shows us that it is not a negative thing to be separated from the world but rather a...More

Adam found an excuse:

Jeremiah 17:9

In a discussion on the above text with some young people, the question was asked: how are we to understand the word "deceitful" here? After some consideration they reached this conclusion: deceitful means that the heart finds an excuse for everything. This seems a very apt...More
