Some believers once spoke to a young...

If when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:10

Some believers once spoke to a young Lebanese woman about God's love towards mankind. The woman failed to respond to the message of the Bible and countered with various arguments.

One day her son had an accident and needed a blood transfusion urgently. In that isolated district someone with the right blood group who was prepared to be the donor had to be found first. The parish priest was the only suitable person, and he did not hesitate to help the boy, who, thanks to the transfusion soon recovered his health.

Some time later the priest visited the family. The parents welcomed him and thanked him. "Your act saved my son's life," said the mother. The priest's friendly answer was, "That was nothing great. Rather consider what God has done for us. The Bible says that we were "dead in trespasses, but it also says that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (Ephesians 2, 1; John 3, 16). A blood transfusion is sometimes the only possibility of saving someone's life. But Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave His life for me out of love. He died in my place, Himself bearing the punishment that I deserved because of my sins. In that way he obtained peace with God for all who believe on Him.

The woman from Lebanon also opened her heart for the love of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today God is calling you (3)

I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail.' Luke 22:32 NASB

God wants you to do His will, but you'll never reach the place of spiritual maturity in which you're free of Satan. You can overcome him, but you can't eliminate him. Look at Peter. He had only one gear: overdrive. He was always...More
