Who is God, “and what is his Son’s name?”...

God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through
him might be saved.
John 3: 17.

Who is God, . Even when He was a child, people sought to kill Him. Holy Scripture tells us ittle about His youth. But at the age of thirty He began His work, a service for God and for mankind.

The unique thing about His Person is: through His Word and His selfless life we know what God is like. Let us compare our own life and our best intentions with all that He did. We shall realise that they are worlds apart.

Finally, the Son of God who became Man was sentenced to death by His creatures. He died on the cross outside the gates of the city of Jerusalem.

Yet on the basis of that death God offers redemption to everyone who believes, and He still shows patience towards a world that is ripe for judgment.
