God has given every human being a conscience; it tells us whether our dealings agree with God and His will or not. In order that our conscience functions properly as an indicator, it needs to be calibrated according God's Word, the Bible, which is the official standard measure, the conscience is merely a pointer.

When our conscience works, it sounds an alarm when we do something wrong and against God's will. It points out our guilt. We certainly want to be free from guilt before God, the reproaches of ourselves and others. We should therefore confess our guilt before God and other people when and where applicable.

Guilt towards God and other people oppresses and burdens us, so long as we fail to admit it and it remains unforgiven. Every injustice to others is,
