He had been blind from birth and he used to beg. That is a reflection of man without God: he cannot know God; he cannot recognise himself properly; he is unaware of the truth - he is blind through sin.

But Jesus Christ came by. He could help and was ready to heal. First, however, the man's faith had to be tested. "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam," the Lord told him. The blind man .

This must be our experience, too. Whoever knows the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour, will serve Him as Lord and worship Him as the Son of God.
