You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.
James 4: 14.

In the year 378 B.C. the governor of Thebes in Greece gave a great feast. The food, the wines, the music, dancing and all the blandishments proved to be a treat for all the guests. In the midst of the feast he received a letter informing him of Pelopidas' plot to bring about his downfall. Archias deferred reading it and put it under his cushion, saying, "Tomorrow will do for important business!" But there was no tomorrow for him. A few hours later a dozen conspirators, under the orders of the traitor, set about him and assassinated him. What use was the warning? Nothing! Archias' unconcern proved to be fatal.

How many people behave like Archias, postponing the moment to think about their soul, imagining that .
