In his work "Christ will return - Messages for modern man", published in 1978 Norbert Hugedé, a professor at the Sorbonne in Paris, stated: "One must be blind to deny that we are approaching the end of our planet's history. Whoever takes the trouble to reflect on present events must conclude that the world has come to the end of a blind alley, economically, socially, politically and even religiously."

One event of universal significance is indeed imminent. Jesus Christ will return! "The Lord himself will descend from heaven. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air" . But judgment will swoop down on the earth's unbelieving inhabitants.

God still patiently offers His grace to all. His Son, Jesus Christ, saves those who believe in Him from judgment. His work delivers them from condemnation, placing them in eternal security. When He returns, it will be too late. But today you can still be saved!
