| Florida Judge Bars Church from Holding Services Inside Its Property at Strip Mall A Florida church's right to worship is clashing with private property rules in a case that could set a precedent for religious liberty.  A Florida church is appealing a court order barring it from holding in-person worship services in a unique case that pits religious liberty against private property restrictions. At issue is a property purchased in 2025 by Pastor Roderick Palmer inside a strip mall to house Coastal Family Church in Flagler Beach, which the association that manages the tenants says cannot be used for worship services or large gatherings under its rules. The Enduring Word Christianity is a worldview that is fundamentally word-centered. Words are central to God’s nature, purposes, and work in the Creation, Redemption, and Restoration of the world. According to Genesis 1, God spoke creation into existence. His power and authority are displayed in the words that brought reality into being. In this sense, postmodern thinkers are not entirely wrong to claim that words shape reality or that narratives provide the structure in how we know. What they miss is Whose words create the world and Whose story we are in. Only within the Christian worldview is the true nature and purpose of language understood.
