How American Christians are Bracing for War in '24'

How American Christians are Bracing for War in '24'

In 2024, It's clear that a massive battle will take place in America. But this battle, unlike most battles, will primarily take place in our homes and in our hearts.

In American politics, the Right talks of civil war, while the Left suggests that Republicans represent a greater threat to the U.S. than Islamic terrorists. The wealthy elite are building survival bunkers while the doomsday preppers continue to prep.

THE BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF A NATION
Let's be clear: When I use the word "war," I'm not talking about physical violence but a spiritual upheaval. Although we are currently in a battle for the moral heart and soul of our nation, the real battle is for the souls of its people.

The battle for our children and loved ones will only be won on our knees as desperate hearts cry out to God. Period! End of the story — there is no Plan B. The military can't save us, Biden can't lead us, and Trump can't revive us.

STIRRING UP THE HORNETS' NEST
Today's main battlefronts are the family and God's Word. We see this in the political arena as well as other areas where those with opposing worldviews fight for control of America.

Those who dare to speak out in defense of what God's Word says about sin and immorality stir up the hornets' nest and provoke demonic attacks: kingdoms are colliding.

As we set our sights on the next election, we must remember that the enemy isn't concerned with just one man's character; he's concerned with the direction of the entire nation.

Whenever policies, procedures, and regulations favor God's Word, there is an immediate assault against them and against those who dare to shine the light in dark places.

GOD HONORS BOLD FAITH
In the Bible, whenever a prophet or king directed people back to God, a battle would begin as hell called forth her best generals to bring disorder, confusion, and fear. Not much has changed.

Throughout scripture, we are told not to fear because God Himself fights for us. However, we have a role to play. God told Moses to stand and hold the line, He told Joshua to march around Jericho, and He told Jehoshaphat to worship. In all cases, God honored bold, tenacious faith that didn't retreat.

When an earthly army takes ground from their enemy, they're expected to hold the line. In the same way, we must hold our ground in a spiritual battle. Tragically, many churches have not held their ground; they have given in to compromise and made concessions to the enemy. Because of their weakness, they are experiencing spiritual retreat and defeat.

FULL GUN SAFES, EMPTY PRAYER CLOSETS
Sadly, as I've said many times before, our gun safes are full, but our prayer closets are empty! This must change.

We frequently post angry rants, but we rarely are peacemakers. We are snarky, arrogant, and ego-driven rather than humble, broken, and contrite. Do we really think that God is on our side? God has said, "These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at My word" (Isaiah 66:2).

Do these words ring true about you? Will you do what it takes to win this battle? It begins with humility, desperation, and brokenness. This has been the formula for spiritual success for over 2,000 years. Are we so arrogant as to think that we have a better plan?

FEAR IS CONTAGIOUS, BUT SO IS BOLDNESS
It's easy to get discouraged when we think we're losing the battle, but don't forget that God uses discouragement to build faith: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).

We need to encourage ourselves in the Lord and be an encouragement to others, especially our children. Fear is contagious, but so is boldness.

Your children need to see you as humble and repentant. They need to see you in the Word like never before and on your knees before Almighty God. We must leave them a spiritual inheritance.

A TRUE WORSHIPER IS A TRUE WARRIOR
Half-hearted Christianity will never stop wicked agendas. We must become worshipers to truly make a difference. Throughout both Scripture and church history, we see that in order to battle against evil, saints "fell on their faces" and worshiped God.

Be crystal clear here: Like it or not, you are in warfare right now! Your testimony, your marriage, and your family are all under attack.

True worshipers are known for their humility, repentance, and obedience to God‘s Word. They are people of passionate prayer who find strength in the fullness of the Spirit.

GREAT HOPE IN A HOPELESS WORLD
Yes, this year will no doubt bring many battles for us to fight. There will be spiritual ground to take and defend. It will involve sacrifice, but we can find comfort in God's Word—don't fear, trust.

When God's kingdom collides with darkness, He conquers. God doesn't negotiate, He proclaims. He doesn't waiver; He triumphs over evil.

Now is the time for battle. If you have not yet repented and placed your faith in Jesus Christ, now is the time to do so fully surrender your life to Him and watch His kingdom of light overcome the darkness.
