They looked to the sky after his funeral and saw more than clouds. What mourners witnessed above the church points to a hope far greater than Hulkamania.

Fans of Hulk Hogan believe a cloud formation in the sky outside his funeral wasn’t just a coincidence, but a divine sign from God offering comfort in their time of grief. The life of Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, was celebrated this week at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, FL -- the same church where he was baptized in 2023 and the congregation he regularly attended.

But it’s a mysterious cloud formation outside the church that has captured the most attention.

Hogan’s friend Dee Jay Silver posted a photo of the cloud formation, which appears to mimic one of the wrestling legend’s signature poses. Silver attended the funeral at the church.

“We said our final goodbyes to my hero today!” Silver wrote on Tuesday. “We saw you in the sky looking over us! Hulkamania will live forever, brother! RIP, my friend!”

Others, too, saw Hogan in the sky.

“The cloud outside of Hulk Hogan‘s funeral at Indian Rocks, FL. Wow! You see what I see?? If this isn’t a sign, then I don’t know what is,” one person wrote.

Hogan was outspoken about his Christian faith in the final years of his life and attended the Largo church each Sunday. His pastor, Aaron Filippone of Indian Rocks Baptist, posted a tribute to Hogan this week.

“At the request of his family, the service was private -- an intimate, off-camera time to remember the man we loved,” Filippone wrote. “While the world knew him as a larger-than-life figure, I knew him simply as Terry -- a humble, joyful, Jesus-loving man whose life was transformed by the grace of God.”

Filippone shared a six-minute video of Hogan and his faith testimony -- a clip that was played during the funeral service, set to the backdrop of Josh Baldwin’s song Evidence. In the video, Hogan urges viewers to commit their lives to Christ.

“The number one priority is accept Jesus Christ as your Savior -- [to] surrender,” Hogan said in the video.

Filippone said he will miss Hogan “deeply.”

“But I know this: because of Jesus, Terry is more alive now than ever -- fully healed, fully free, and in the presence of his Savior,” Filippone wrote.
