Two churches in San Antonio were vandalized with anti-Trump and religious graffiti during weekend protests. Pastors at both locations have responded publicly, emphasizing biblical authority and the need for respectful dialogue.



At least two churches in San Antonio, Texas, were vandalized with graffiti messages during the ‘No Kings’ protests against President Donald Trump last weekend.

The pastors of Community Bible Church and Church Unlimited Stone Oak have responded to the matter on social media, expressing disappointment that their churches were vandalized, according to CBN News.

“To spew evil, spray paint this on our church, in a form of hate, causes me to question the very belief system of [those] who participate, condone, and not condemn this kind of hate language and ideology,” wrote Community Bible Church Pastor Ed Newton on Instagram.

Newton’s post included photos of the graffiti messages, which included the phrases “Jesus wants Trump gone” and “No king but God.”

“The truth is what Jesus wants is for all people to repent and live for Him, surrendered from a lifestyle of hate, sin, and evil,” the pastor continued. “Jesus came to save sinners, change sinners, to sons and daughters that includes us all, me and you, including every president before us, amongst us and after us.”

“Jesus is King,” he concluded.

Bil Cornelius, founding pastor of Church Unlimited Stone Oak, wrote that he is so “disappointed” that one of his congregation’s satellite locations was vandalized.

“Vandalism is not protesting,” he wrote. “It is a crime.”

Cornelius’ post featured a picture of the church, which had the message “Jesus wants Trump gone” spray-painted on the sidewalk.
