Former Psychic Turned Christian Sounds Alarm Over Disney’s New Kids Movie ‘Hexed’ and Its Portrayal of Witchcraft

Former psychic turned Christian Jenn Nizza is warning that Disney’s upcoming animated film, "Hexed," is normalizing the occult amongst children.

Speaking with CBN News, Nizza did not hold back, giving her thoughts and opinions on what she believes Disney is doing with their upcoming animated film. She mentioned that the company is showcasing witchcraft or necromancy “in a really beautiful way,” despite the practice being strictly prohibited by Scripture.

“[It] makes me think of Satan masquerading as an angel of light — and that’s really disturbing,” she said.

The film, which is set to be released in theaters on Nov. 25, centers on a teenage girl named Billie, who is struggling to fit in as a social outcast, a misfit. Later in the animated film, Billie, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, discovers she has "peculiarities," which may be "magical powers," according to IMDB's description of the film.

Billie then uses these newly-discovered powers to travel to a world called Hexe, where the young woman then learns all about spells, witchcraft and other areas of the occult, according to Faithwire.

Nizza, who posts content about exposing the occult on her YouTube channel, argued that other films Disney has released up until this point have made it possible for people to accept a film such as "Hexed." We've grown desensitized to things regarding the occult because bits and pieces of it have been sprinkled throughout their films.

"What you're explaining is the desensitization by the enemy," she said. "By making these things normative, number one. But number two: easing you into things. So, those secondary characters that had some magical powers and what have you, but they weren't the villain of the story, but let me introduce you to this. Let me start little by little, by little getting you used to it. So now, when I give you this movie 'Hexed,' you're in a culture now, where, Trey, it's trending to be a witch."

But what is projected on the big screen wasn't the only thing Nizza blamed for this apparent acceptance of the occult; she said that social media and even what we see in retailers such as Walmart have also helped lay the groundwork for relaxed attitudes toward witchcraft and sorcery.

“It’s so important to disregard the aesthetic, because it’s the same evil and it’s the same author of these practices: the devil,” she said.

Nizza acknowledged that she could relate to the main protagonist as she began practicing the occult at around 12 or 13 because it gave her a sense of purpose and an opportunity to serve others.

“I was doing readings because I believed I really was talking to deceased people, and I had to help them get messages out to their loved ones that were here for what? Healing, solutions, some sort of peace, some sort of wisdom," she added. "And, of course, it's not true. None of that is true. It's evil masquerading as light, and condemned by God."

She later realized, however, that the communication with the deceased was actually “demons” who were “masquerading as grandmothers, husbands, wives and children.”

“I was completely demonically oppressed,” she said. “Of course, I wouldn’t have known that word then — heavy times of depressions, anxieties. … Demonic oppression is a side effect — is what I call it — or a consequence of dealing with the demonic, serving the devil. That’s what I was doing, serving the devil.”
