November 22, 2015 Today's reading: Numbers 26:23-43 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed. Acts 14:21-23 Thoughts on the Book of Acts (118) Many who heard Paul's and Barnabas' preaching in Derbe found faith in Christ. The Good Seed for Friday, February 25, 2017 by GBV Dillenburg GmbH Adam found an excuse: Jeremiah 17:9 In a discussion on the above text with some young people, the question was asked: how are we to understand the word "deceitful" here?
