The best!

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
Psalm 86:5

The best!
Are you really doing well? Are you completely happy and satisfied? I don’t know how you would answer these personal questions. The fact is that some things in life don’t go as planned. How can you be happy if you are sick, if pressure at work is increasing, or if an important relationship has fallen apart?

The biggest problem, however, is the guilt we carry around with us. That is why we don’t feel good inside and can’t be really happy. The wrong we have done separates us from God. The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Is there a way out? Yes! God is good and wants the very best for us. That’s why He gave us His Son Jesus Christ as Saviour. He also loves you and wants the best for you. This verse from John 3:16 applies to you personally: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

It is my wish that you will recognise and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Believe that He died on the cross to forgive your sins and that He rose from the dead on the third day! He wants to take over the leadership of your life and have you with Him forever in heaven. That is indeed the very best!

Today’s reading: Genesis 3:1-13 · 1 Peter 1:8-16

BE TRULY ROOTED

You can overcome the attacks of the devil if you can simply obey God's Word. Before taking on the devil, be sure of your salvation because the salvation of many today is questionable. Many are pretenders and have really never answered the altar call for salvation at any time. At the time they should be answering...More

YOUR FIRST LOVE

As a Christian, your heart ought to be aglow with genuine love for Christ, unless you are not genuinely saved as a result of having not truly repented from your sins even though you have confessed Jesus. At the new birth experience, the Holy Spirit regenerates our spirit and fills it with deep and pure love for...More

Imitation or Genuine?

"All the prophets were prophesying before them. Then Zedekiah said, 'This is what the LORD says' All the prophets were prophesying this as well." - 1 Kings 22:10-12 NASB

Zedekiah understood what it meant to be a prophet. He knew the vocabulary and how to deliver prophecies. In similar ways, others...More
