The Lord Jesus Christ is with us

But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore.
John 21:4

The Lord Jesus Christ is with us
After the resurrection of Jesus, seven disciples, at Peter’s initiative, went fishing on the Sea of Galilee. But in that night, despite their efforts and experience, they caught nothing. When the early morning comes, Jesus stands on the shore. He sees their failure and discouragement. He also knows they are hungry and cold after this long night.

The presence of the Lord changes the situation. He instructs the disciples to cast the net on the right side of the boat. They obey Him and make a great catch of fish. When they return to land, He invites them to breakfast at His charcoal fire.

Haven’t we often been like the disciples? Although we have worked hard, our efforts haven’t brought about the desired result. This can be very depressing. But children of God can be sure of this: the Lord is there and will not forsake us! Our situation may not always change immediately so that we are successful again, but we are not alone and can count on the help of the Lord when we ask Him. Sometimes He wants to make us feel in such difficult times that we are completely dependent on Him and that He has everything in sight.

Although He is invisible to our human eyes, we can be absolutely sure of the presence of the Lord in whatever situation we may be!
