Ephesians 6:18

Prayer
o Prayer is the heavenly haven where we shelter from the storms of life.
o Because God is the living God, He can hear; because He is the loving God, He wants to hear.
o God bends down from the height of His glory to listen to my prayers. He is like a gentle physician or a loving friend who leans over the sick person to understand every weak whisper. If our prayer is so weak that we can barely hear it ourselves, God still inclines His ear to us and pays attention to our faintest plea.
o We should not expect that God will give us everything we ask for. But if we pray in faith and do not doubt, and if we do not receive exactly what we meant, we will receive something better instead.
o No matter how much or how greatly we have sinned, we may always plead for forgiveness and expect it to be granted to us.
o You are never richer than when you place everything you have in the hand of the Lord.
o Our heavenly Father has His special reasons when He makes us wait.
o Your prayers are all stored up in heaven. Even if they are not immediately answered, they are not forgotten.
