Leave it to your God!
A Japanese restaurant in Zurich serves its guests with the motto “Omakase”. In this context, this word means something like: “I leave the choice to the chef.” You don’t choose your own menu but you let yourself be surprised. Because the chef knows best which fish, seafood and other ingredients are currently fresh, you rely entirely on his skill. He decides what the guests will eat.

This can also be a guiding principle in our relationship with our God and Father:

o In everyday life, we have our worries and problems that trouble us. When we present these concerns to our heavenly Father, we should leave to Him how He answers our prayers.

o Sometimes we don’t know how our lives can continue. The future lies dark and uncertain before us. How good that we can always rely on the guidance to our God. He will lead us on the right path.

o Sometimes we know believers who are in great trouble and need help. We would like to help them but are not able to. Then we can entrust them to the care of our Father in heaven.

God really knows best exactly what is good for us! Therefore, let us trust Him and rely on His wise, kind actions. We will then experience that He is good and does good.
