Imagine this situation!

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deuteronomy 30:19

Imagine this situation! An overworking manager arrives at the airport at the last minute. After rushing through all the controls, he boards the plane. Just made it! The plane moves out of the runway and takes off.
"Where are you going?" asks the passenger on the next seat. - "I have an important appointment in Moscow. The future of our business depends on it," he replies. - "To Moscow? Then you are in the wrong plane. We're bound for Washington," his neighbour says. - "What? Are you quite sure?" asks the horrified manager and calls the stewardess. When she confirms that Washington is the destination, shaking all over with the shock he bewails, "I must be in Moscow punctually."
The stewardess tries to pacify him, but points out, "Your destination must be decided on the ground, not in the air."
It rarely happens that mistakes are made at the check-in through the inattention of the staff. However, when it is a matter of our eternal destination, there is much greater negligence.
How many rush from one appointment to the next with tasks piling up. Yet they are unclear about their final destination. At the moment all is well: why should they think about eternity? However, whether we arrive in the glory with God or far from Him in hell, we decide here on earth. Afterwards, we cannot change our destination.
Today's reading: Ezekiel ch.33
