There are Christians who have confessed the guilt...

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
Genesis 7:1,16

There are Christians who have confessed the guilt of their lives sincerely to God and yet feel uneasy with regard to their salvation. They fear that they might become unfaithful to God and lose their salvation as a consequence.
By the illustration of Noah and his ark, God shows us the absolute security of every redeemed person. Just as He ordered Noah to enter the ark, so He has commanded us to come to the Lord Jesus and put our trust in Him. As soon as Noah and his family were in the ark, God Himself shut the door behind him. Then all who were inside were safe.
Who could have opened what God had shut? "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31). No power of angels, men or the devil could have broken open the door of the ark and let the water flow in. It had been securely closed by the same hand that released the judgment of the flood. Of Christ it is written, "He who has the key of David. He who opens and no-one shuts, and shuts and no-one opens" (Revelation 3:7). He possesses "all authorityin heaven and earth" (Matthew 28:19). So who could touch those who have taken refuge in Him by faith?
The death of the Lord Jesus Christ is the unshakeable basis of our salvation, and His resurrection proves that God is fully satisfied. He can therefore grant us unconditionally an eternally secure salvation. It cannot be lost and does not need any testing or purifying process to ensure its validity.
Today's reading: Acts 22

Jesus says to her, Mary. She, turning around, ...

Jesus says to her, Mary. She, turning around, says to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni, which means Teacher. Jesus says to her, Touch Me not, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, I ascend to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.

We have not a high priest not able to sympathize with our infirmities, but tempted in all things in like manner, sin apart.

PROVOKING POSITIVE CHANGE

Change is one event that is constant in life. Change denotes movement from one state to another. There are two categories of change: positive and negative. Due to the fact that change can either be positive or negative, Africans would say: "Change is good for the poor but bad for the rich". Change in life is...More
