God is seeking you!

Who has declared this? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides me. The one who comes to me I will by no means cast out.
Isaiah 45:21; John 6:37

God is seeking you!
Are you one of those who are seeking God? Maybe your rational thinking or simply your common sense has brought you to the point of inquiring after the Creator-God. Like you, people of all past ages have sought after God. And many have found Him.

All seekers are confronted with the question: Can I be quite sure that the way I am going about it is the right one? Seeking God is one thing; being successful in finding Him is another.

The Bible gives us information concerning this important question. It even guides us precisely. It is the Word of God after all! It teaches us that mankind can only expect eternal separation from God as the punishment for his sins. But God has made provision for a free pardon for every sinner who turns to him: Jesus Christ bore the punishment for all who believe on Him. He, the only righteous One, gave His life so that we might be reconciled to God. Since then there has been free access to God for everyone who turns to Him in faith.

Therefore we do not need to plague ourselves with a difficult search. God Himself seeks us in Jesus Christ, His Son. He approaches us to show us the way. Jesus said, "I am the way. No-one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14, 6). Whoever wishes to come to God must do so by coming to Jesus Christ.

CAN SATAN RIGHTLY ACCUSE YOU?

Besides discouragement, another weapon Satan uses often against believers is their weaknesses. He simply studies an individual for a period of time and not long after, he identifies the fellow's weakness and capitalizes on it. Take for instance Peter. Satan discovered that Peter is a cowardly person-lacking in...More

I do hope you are realizing that after all there is no point envying the prosperous wicked. Do not kill yourself for nothing. You have your life to live. Do not be a puppet dancing the...More

Hudson Taylor...

John 19:30

The parents of Hudson Taylor (1832-1905), the well-known missionary in China, were believers. From their example, he noticed early in life how helpful prayer and the Bible are.
His parents' exemplary life impressed him, and he endeavoured to be as good a Christian as they were....More
