You probably find plenty of prospectuses in your letter-box telling you that you have won a fortune, or will receive a free gift etc.. Similar offers arrive in our mail box with a host of advertising material as soon as we open the website. We are promised health, wealth and success. It is surprising how many people appear to have responded successfully to the deceptive methods of fake marketing.

Our fellowmen are, however, much more obstinate and defiant when it comes to God's promises. Divine grace often meets with hardened hearts. Ears receptive to false promises are deaf to what the gospel offers. Some think they need nothing, certainly not God; this world is sufficient for them. Others seek to work out their own happiness.

The Lord Jesus has the cure for the soul, rest for the conscience and peace for the heart. He will give eternal life to whoever believes .
