Martin was a young man but already living in a care home. He was lame and blind, helplessly bed-ridden. Tim, a true believer, often visited him. One day he asked, "Martin, have you really peace with God?" Martin made a painful grimace. "Whatever do you think? That's not for people like me. I can't help being unable to move any more."

Tim shook his head: "Do you think God unjust?" Guessing what Tim was thinking, Martin replied, "That's not what I meant." Tim grasped his hand. "If God expected something of you, who cannot do what other people can, He would really be unjust. God is holy and cannot overlook sin, but He is also love and gave His Son, .
