What I have found

What profit has a man from all his labour in which he toils under the sun?

Provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail.

Ecclesiastes 1: 3; Luke 12: 33.

What I have found
"Generation after generation, young people begin their activity full of strength, enthusiasm and determination. Then, one after another, they fall into indifference and the selfsame mistakes of their predecessors.

"After a few years I noticed that life on earth is often mere appearance, false glitter and transient. When young, I imagined that the main purpose of life was to achieve a good social position, but I saw how certain people, having attained their ideal, were deceived by their life.

"Having discovered how hollow much of this world's offers are, I found something infinitely more precious, something eternal: that faith in Jesus Christ was more than all that my heart could desire. The thing that should be sought after in this world is the knowledge of God and His love through Jesus Christ His Son. Knowing Jesus as our Saviour is not a theory or philosophy, it is life, eternal life (cf. ). I discovered that Christ is a rock on which my faith could be built up. I found that the Holy Spirit is not just an influence, but a true, living and active Person. Formerly my interest was occupied with things that pass away quickly, now my affections are anchored deeply in Him who created all things and who loves me."

(The anonymous testimony of a doctor)

Today‘s reading: 2 Kings 12: 18 - 13: 9 · 1 John 1: 1 - 4

Jesus says to her, Mary. She, turning around, ...

Jesus says to her, Mary. She, turning around, says to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni, which means Teacher. Jesus says to her, Touch Me not, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, I ascend to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.

We have not a high priest not able to sympathize with our infirmities, but tempted in all things in like manner, sin apart.

PROVOKING POSITIVE CHANGE

Change is one event that is constant in life. Change denotes movement from one state to another. There are two categories of change: positive and negative. Due to the fact that change can either be positive or negative, Africans would say: "Change is good for the poor but bad for the rich". Change in life is...More

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read...More
