God has an assignment for you to fulfil

‘I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ Philippians 1:6 CSB

Your God-given assignment in life comes with three things.

1) A plan. ‘I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 1:6 CSB) As you spend time with the Lord in prayer, He will reveal His plan to you. And He will do it one step at a time. You might say, ‘But what if I make a mistake? What if I stumble?’ The Bible says, ‘The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand’ (Psalm 37:23-24 NLT).

2) A time frame. Not only does God have a personal plan for you, He schedules certain things to take place in your life at certain times. ‘… For the time to favour her, yes, the set time, has come’ (Psalm 102:13 NKJV). That’s why you must stay in step with God and in sync with the beat of the Holy Spirit who lives within you.

3) Victory in spite of the odds and the opposition. ‘For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith’ (1 John 5:4 NLT).

Keep your faith strong. Keep trusting God. You may say, ‘But the circumstances don’t look good.’ God is in control of your circumstances. He made the sun stand still to give Joshua extra time to win the battle over his enemies, and He can alter the circumstances for your good and His glory.

Jesus says to her, Mary. She, turning around, ...

Jesus says to her, Mary. She, turning around, says to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni, which means Teacher. Jesus says to her, Touch Me not, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, I ascend to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.

We have not a high priest not able to sympathize with our infirmities, but tempted in all things in like manner, sin apart.

PROVOKING POSITIVE CHANGE

Change is one event that is constant in life. Change denotes movement from one state to another. There are two categories of change: positive and negative. Due to the fact that change can either be positive or negative, Africans would say: "Change is good for the poor but bad for the rich". Change in life is...More
