‘Much more’ or ‘much less’ (2)

‘How much more shall your Father … give good things to them that ask Him?’ Matthew 7:11 KJV

Try to imagine the abundance God has prepared for you (see 1 Corinthians 2:9). Then decide that the language of your heart will be the ‘much more’ of faith, not the ‘much less’ of unbelief. Observe:

1) Your salvation supersedes your sin. No matter how sinful your history, ‘… if by the one man’s offence many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many’ (Romans 5:15 NKJV). Rejoice! You’re ‘much more’ forgiven. 2) Christ’s life in you continuously saves you. If He lives in you, His salvation remains actively at work in you. ‘For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life’ (Romans 5:10 KJV). 3) The Holy Spirit will be in you abundantly. ‘"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" (Luke 11:13 NKJV). He gives the Spirit ‘much more’ to His children. 4) You can triumph in life through Jesus. ‘… much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.’ (Romans 5:17 NKJV). By God’s grace, you can walk in ‘much more’ victory. 5) All you need, He will provide. ‘If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!’ (Matthew 7:11 NKJV). As you develop a ‘much more’ mentality, you will begin to enjoy the ‘good things’ God provides.

THE GREAT DELIVERER

God is great but He humbles Himself to the level of His children to deliver them. The one who will deliver you must be stronger than the enemy holding you captive. The reason He is able to deliver is because He is stronger than all your enemies put together. This is why in

NO FOOD FOR THE LAZY MAN

Laziness is not a Christian virtue in any way. Our Lord Jesus Christ made this clear by His lifestyle of hard work while here on earth. A lifestyle of laziness is outrightly rejected in Scriptures typified by today's Bible reading. It is amazing that some people are still expecting God to rain manna on earth! It does...More
