How your faith can produce results (2)

‘God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.’ Romans 12:3 NKJV

Thank God, faith isn’t reserved for deeply spiritual people. If that were the case, we would all be in trouble! The fact is that regular people from all walks of life can be faith-filled.

We’re inclined to think faith belongs exclusively to people like Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Samuel, David, Daniel, Peter, and Paul. Now, without question, they were all faith heroes—but faith doesn’t belong solely to them. The Bible tells us, ‘God has dealt to each one a measure of faith’ (Romans 12:13 NKJV) . No one will miss out on heaven because they weren’t given enough faith to ‘believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved’ (see Acts 16:31). God intended not only that we should have faith—but that we should live by it. Three times the New Testament assures us: ‘The just shall live by faith’ (Hebrews 10:38 NKJV). You might say, ‘Yes, but those biblical heroes had great faith; my faith is so small!’ Did you know the apostles felt the same way? They said to Jesus, ‘Increase our faith!’ (Luke 17:5 NIV). And Jesus replied, ‘If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it will obey you’ (v. 6 NIV). Like so many of us, the apostles thought they needed more faith. But Jesus corrected this spiritually crippling misperception by telling them: you don’t need a truckload of faith to see amazing outcomes. Faith as small as a mustard seed can bring about awesome results. When you put the faith you already have into action, Jesus said it will produce results!

IS YOUR VISA READY?

Speaking of aspirations and ambitions in life, if all you can achieve on earth is for your name to enter and remain in the most important book in the universe - the Book of Life, it is worth it. On the Day of Judgment, many whose names were in earth's halls of fame will be shown the way to the eternal lake of fire...More

BE STRONG

You don't charge someone to be strong if there is no task to be performed or if pressure is not required, either for motion or putting up resistance against an opposing force. In the physical realm, mere movement requires strength. This explains why a sick person or a person just recovering from an ailment finds it...More

Acts 5:4-5

God often proves to be other than people think. Here, for example, death struck a man suddenly for lying before God. Is God therefore severe, when he makes use of His power unreservedly towards the weak?
Let us first briefly examine what preceded this judgment. Holy zeal for the...More
