Tiger Woods Commits To Notable Event: Golf World Reacts

Golf fans will receive a strong dose of Tiger Woods this July. On Thursday, the sports world found out that he has committed to playing in the JP McManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor in Limerick, Ireland.

This pro-am will take place just 10 days before the Open Championship at St. Andrews in Scotland.

Dan Rapoport believes this move from Woods is a sign that he's all in on this year's Open Championship.

"What this tells me: Tiger's putting all his eggs in the Open basket," Rapoport said. "Going overseas a week early, committing to an event in the run-up. He seems to believe that he can contend at St. Andrews should his rehab/strengthening go the right way."
