A wrong observation

You have said, No one sees me.
Isaiah 47:10

A wrong observation
When reading the Bible, we experience the way God suddenly holds up a mirror to us and points out something wrong in our lives. In doing so, He also reveals our secret thoughts and reflections.

This is the case, for example, with today’s verse. Surely there have been times when we wanted to do something bad and have thought: Nobody can see me! But that isn’t true, God registers everything we do, say or think. In Psalm 33:13 we read: “The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men.” And in Hebrews 4:13 it says, “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

Thus, God has also seen every sin that we have been able to hide from others. Moreover, nothing is forgotten by Him. Therefore, it is best if we sincerely confess our wrongdoings before God and, if necessary, before men. We will then experience that God forgives us and cleanses us from our unrighteousness.

Two Bible verses encourage us to confess the sins we have committed:

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered” (Psalm 32:1).

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13).

Today’s reading: Esther 1:10-22 · Proverbs 18:1-12

FASTING IS NECESSARY

To relate with the Holy Spirit, you must be holy. You must also exercise a living faith, pray and fast. Some people will tell you that because had finished the work of salvation, there is no need to fast. To them, fasting is completely needless and is some form of self-inflicted punishment. But they forget that...More

HOW PROPHETIC ARE YOUR NAMES?

The name you bear is very important because it serves as your identity and your future may be connected to it. The name a person bears is sometimes indicative of the experiences he or she will encounter in life. Take for instance Moses: this name means "drawn out of water"

Bible in one year:
