Thoughts on the Book of Acts (124)
James came to the condition that Paul's and Barnabas' preaching of the gospel agreed with the Word of God. Therefore, believers from the nations should not be impeded by the imposition of circumcision or obedience to the law as a condition of salvation. However, for the way of life of non-Jew Christians and for their social contacts with Jewish Christians, certain clarifications were needed. James mentioned the critical points, which referred to God's order for creation and His instructions to Noah, which were valid long before the Mosaic law(cf. .
