Rescue from judgment
In the Gulf of Mexico, terrible hurricanes often occur. When a hurricane approaches the coast, storm warnings are issued so that people can take shelter. Nevertheless, people still lose their lives in these storms. There may be various reasons for this. Some think they are safe, but they rely on shelter that cannot withstand the storm and they lose their lives as a result. Others know they are in danger but have no way to protect themselves and are helplessly delivered to the forces of nature. Then there are those who are caught off-guard by the storm because they haven’t been warned or simply don’t heed the warning.

The Bible warns us of the impending judgment of God that will strike all who are not at peace with their Creator. Have we heeded the warning? Or do we believe that nothing can happen to us? Or are we even among those who throw this warning to the wind? Do we really want to risk our eternal salvation?

For those who believe the Word of God and realise that they are in great danger, salvation is possible. Through personal faith in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for guilty people, salvation from the coming judgment is available to all.
