A fresh start

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17

A fresh start
Many people are haunted by their past. They cannot get over disappointments and plague themselves with reproaches. During sleepless nights they constantly think: "If only I hadn't done such a stupid thing! Why ever did I get involved in that? If only I could make a fresh start!"

Have you ever reached this conclusion? Then we have some good news for you. With Jesus Christ you can put an end to your past and make a fresh start.

He offers you the forgiveness of your sins. If you sincerely confess all that you have done wrong, He will relieve you of the burden of your guilt. Simply believe that on the cross He bore the punishment of all your wrongdoing. In this way your past will be put in order before God and your conscience relieved.

Jesus Christ is ready and willing to grant you new life. He said Himself: "I have come that they might have life" (John 10; 10). On another occasion He declared: "He who believes in me has everlasting life" (John 6; 47). Open your heart to receive the Lord Jesus and put your faith in Him! That will change your life fundamentally.

You will then live in a happy relationship with Jesus Christ and have a hope going beyond death. He promises you: "He who believes in me, though may die, he shall live" (John 11; 25).

Today's reading: Exodus 15:17-27 · Luke 7:1-10

NEW LIFE IN CHRIST

There is a nature that is of the Earth and there is a nature that is of Heaven. Since the fall of man, the earthly nature of man has become corrupted and therefore is greatly under the influence of the kingdom of Satan. Characteristic features of this nature are: wickedness, moral perversion - sodomy and all sorts of...More
