The testimony of a biophysicist
"We have two revelations: creation and the Scriptures, both being superior to mankind. I have been studying the wonderful book of creation with admiration for sixty years, and this long study has only strengthened my certainty that these two sources of testimony are in full agreement. Many people who are prepared to believe are troubled by the often repeated assertion that the biblical account of creation is inconsistent with science. As a scientist and a believer at one and the same time, I insist on asserting the contrary. I have in fact reached the well considered assurance that the Bible, far from being in contradiction with true science, namely that of observed facts and not merely imagined theories, is ahead of science.

Although the expressions used in the holy text are totally simple and understandable by all, they were selected in such a way that they acquire a genuine scientific value. Their choice is so striking: it sets out a science that is precise in the nature of things, so that it reveals the true Author of the account: the same Person as the Author of creation itself."
