An inter-religious calendar
With the praiseworthy aim of developing social cohesion, the town council of a French city publishes annually an inter-religious calendar, in which are entered the chief festivals of different religions. This initiative sought to further tolerance and general acceptance, necessary attitudes for harmonious cohabitation in a big city. However, the fundamental differences still exist among the main religions. So people rightly ask: "Which is the right one?" Some give up trying to decide and persuade themselves that sincerity is the important thing.

Can we enclose God, who created the heavens and the earth, in a religious stream that men have concocted? Not at all! It is not a question of subscribing to any religion that suits one's taste, culture or education, but of making contact with the God of heaven. Such contact is possible, because He has approached us; as man cannot rise to Him, He has come down to man. God became incarnate in the Person of Jesus Christ, placing Himself on the level of those to whom he wished to make Himself known. Jesus is not a religious leader, but the messenger of the God of heaven. He is the sole meeting place between God and men: .
